NGO Forum Google Group

  • You can receive emails/meeting notifications etc through the NGO Forum google group at http://groups.google.com/group/jubaNGOforum
  • To post a message to the google group email jubaNGOforum@googlegroups.com
  • While many of us use the group to post job vacancies and other announcements, we encourage you to also use this group to initiate discussions
  • Please remember our colleagues in the field and do not send large attachments or send replies to the entire Forum google group that could be sent to the message author
  • NGO Steering Committee
  • The NGO Steering Committee is comprised of 12 elected NGO members. The current (2008-2009) membership is CRS, Handicap International, Medair, GOAL, Oxfam GB, Save the Children – Alliance, Pact Sudan, Nesi Network, Tear Fund, Malaria Consortium, IRC and Southern Sudan Indigenous NGO Forum
  • Members of the NGO Steering Committee rotate the positions of Chair/Co-Chair for the NGO Forum every 2 months
  • If you wish to write to the NGO Steering Committee please email jubangoforumsc2009@googlegroups.com
  • The Steering Committee represents NGO issues at various meetings with donors, the UN and Government

  • The NGO Secretariat supports the work of the NGO Forum under the direction of the NGO Steering Committee

NGO Security Group

  • The NGO Security Group is managed by the NGO Security Focal Point (part of the NGO Secretariat) support from the NGO Steering Committee. This includes the NGO security tree and contact lists.
  • NGO Security Focal points ONLY can apply to join a security mailing list at http://groups.google.com/group/ssngosecurity Members must be designated security focal points in their organisation and agree that they will not circulate information received from the group without express permission. Applications to join the group must include name, agency, position and role in relation to security and will be authorised by the Head of Agency
